COMBI-BOILER
These boilers produce limitless amounts of hot water but they cannot cope if everyone decides to bath/shower at the same time! Please liaise with your family/friends over bathing arrangements – otherwise those in Bedroom 3 can find themselves ‘lathered-up’ when their shower stops!
The switch is located inside the cupboard, left of the cooker in the kitchen. When switched on a red light indicates as such & the arrow indicates your choice - I suggest you leave the hot water on constantly during your stay.
ELECTRICITY
All electricity including central heating and hot water are incorporated in the rental charge. However, we would be grateful if you could be careful and diligent in your use of the above and switch off lights when not needed.
WiFi BROADBAND
This facility is available 24hrs a day and is free of charge. There is also a Colour Printer (with software) situated in the Sitting Room. Spare A4 paper is in one of the cupboards in the kitchen.
CAR PARKING
With care, up to 6 cars can be parked in the driveway.
GARAGE
The rubbish bins are situated in the garage, plus all necessary hoses, outside brushes etc. The key to the garage door requires a bit of wriggling (turn to left to open) and then push the top of the handle. Once it has popped open the garage door swings open from the bottom.
REFUSE COLLECTION
The dustbins are collected early on Friday mornings, please place at top of driveway by gateway. Please do not leave bags out on Thursday night unless in bins with tight fitting lids, as the seagulls have a free feast and cause enormous trouble. We do ask tenants to pursue the local recycling policy and colour coded bags for plastic and tins are available in the Utility Room.
RECYCLING
In Port Isaac we encourage recycling, please see information in Utility Room.
BREAKAGES
Accidents unfortunately do happen but we would be hugely grateful if tenants would let Annie Price know when this happens. As owners, we get very frustrated to find things missing but unreported!. If major items are broken an appropriate charge will be made.
SMOKE ALARMS
Please on no account remove the batteries from the smoke alarms. If one does go off open all doors and windows and it will finally stop.
LINEN
All bed linen and towels are provided. However, should you require more for any reason please contact Annie Price.
Prior to your departure, it would be appreciated if you could strip the beds and put the sheets and towels in separate piles in a downstairs room, as the new tenants will be following you in on the same day and this will be very helpful for the cleaner.
PETS
If you do bring a dog/cats it would be much appreciated if you would keep them off all furniture and they are definitely banned from upstairs. At night, you are requested to ’bed-down’ your dog(s) in the Utility Room where a bean bag is provided.
FRIDGE / FREEZER
Please do not switch off the above appliances. They are kept on for those following you.
SECURITY
Please make sure all doors and windows are shut and doors locked prior to your departure.
